  We were married at the Chapel this November (2016). The Chapel sits right on the banks of the Hudson, and is truly spectacular. The inside is totally unique, with bucket pews from the 1800's and a chandelier of real candles. Everything about it is breathtaking! We worked with Marie Early, the Chapel coordinator, who couldn't have been more nice or accommodating. We stopped by multiple times, changed the rehearsal time more than once, and sent her probably 50 texts in the weeks leading up to the wedding. She was always totally accommodating, and extremely quick to get back to us on any question. She was a pleasure to work with, and was so helpful in making our day truly unforgettable. Thank you Marie!!

  This past weekend, my nephew got married in the Chapel of Our Lady Restoration. Cute Chapel by the lake. The ceremony was lovely. Everything was going great till it was time to leave. The Ceremony ended at 2pm. The bride and groom along with the bridal party were taking pictures and the guests were getting ready to leave; using the bathroom and getting their things together. All of the sudden at 2:01 pm, the monster by the name of Marie Earley appeared. She was throwing everyone out of the bathrooms telling them they can't use it because the are closing. She didn't allow a young kid to use the bathroom. Closing doors in people's faces, turning lights off while people were in there and taking the bridesmaids belongings (which were placed in a room where the got ready for the wedding) and threw them outside. She was absolutely rude, mean, nasty and ugly. As long as Marie Earley is there I will not recommend this place at all. They charge a lot of money for this chapel. I understand that the chapel closes at 2pm but there is no need to treat anyone the way Marie Earley treated us at the Chapel and it was only a few minutes after 2pm. Marie Earley is a disgrace to this chapel. They need to get rid of that old fart.

  The Chapel is lovely in its simple elegance. Its history as the church for the first Irish Catholic immigrants who came to Cold Spring to work in the foundry is touching. It's a wonderful site for concerts and lectures, but best of all for weddings in a non-denominational, yet spiritual setting. My daughter is getting married there and we are working with the volunteer wedding coordinator, Marie Early. She is so knowledgeable and helpful, not only about the church, but with details of the ceremony itself. The Chapel's location on a knoll right above the banks of the Hudson River is just spectacular. A little park nearby has a tiny beach, perfect for quiet meditation. It's a little gem in a wonderful town.
